The Andrea Bocelli Foundation was created in 2011 to help people in need due to illness, poverty and social exclusion by promoting and supporting Italian national and international projects. The goal is to overcome these barriers, giving people the possibility to express themselves and reach their full potential.
Thanks to the funds raised through previous Celebrity Fight Night events in Italy, the Foundation was able to implement its work in the most remote areas of Haiti, succeeding in constructing five ABF schools which have opened their doors to 2,550 students. In addition, the ABF has brought water, light, agricultural aid, and the rebuilding of the make-shift homes for the poorest of the poor in these three communities.
